well since there was one for paint shop pro i thought i would make one for those of us with photoshop :happy:
EAMPLE:
STEP 1: Open a new document and select white as the background
STEP 2: now paste or make a new picture and when your done slect the rectangular marquee tool
and select the part you want faded
STEP 3: DONT DESELECT THE IMAGE! now go to EDIT>>COPY and now hit delete
STEP 4: STILL DONT DESELECT! ok now go to edit.. paste
STEP 5: now follow what i did below [make sure your on your 2nd layer]
STEP 5: okay now go to layer..flatten image and your done! and you might want to use the line tool to make a border
FINAL RESULT:
