Nice tutorial. I followed it successfully through to step 9. And learnt a few new things along the way. However ( using PSCS4 ) it would not let me select glowing edges. ( this option was greyed out )

I tried changing the setting, but "Smoothing" is locked. I'm a beginner at Photoshop, how do you unlock it? LOL.

With everyone who is confused with the pressure, you have to change pressure options in your preferences. those options are usually in use with a tablet, if you dont have one i would suggest a laser mouse, not optical.

i chose pen pressure in the shape dynamics & it looks exactly the same as when it is off.

Okay. I found out. In photoshop, click on "Windows". And open up your brushes. Click on "Shape Dynamics" look for "Control" and choose pen pressure.
