I always have a block. And can't think of anything to design.
Hence why i haven't submitted in a while. It'd be interesting to know! =] |

I havent had any good ideas in a long time
but ive noticed that when i dont have anything planned to do and just start randomly making something on photoshop It turns out better than the planned graphics. Like my Gemma ward one. Completely just put things together out of boredom and it came out better than most of my planned graphics |

I write everything down. Each day I might come up with a few fresh ideas spontaneously, and I'd write them all down on the spot so I wouldn't forget.
Eventually, if you keep all you notes, you have a nice list of ideas to choose from. Also, just looking at other people's work can be inspiring. |

I don't know why, but I get a lot of inspiration from commercials for certain channels. The design of Bravo's commercials really fascinate me, and I think I've made a couple things based on some ones from Fuse.

Sometimes just by looking at the designs here I get inspired. Or if I find a great picture online, tons of ideas come to mind. There are a lot of ways I get inspired but I'd say those are the top 2.

I usually get my inspiration from lyrics from songs. Usually when I'm on the computer I have my ipod in one ear, so if I hear something profound I draw from that.
I also get my inspiration from photographs from my favorite photographers, and also Fashion editorials. :3 |

Listen to music, and write ideas down like Arjuna said. Most of the time I try to make things that other people won't like, but that's just me.

Yup, music inspires me a lot. Plug in the speakers and let my ipod shuffle. Or browsing through deviantart gets me inspired, and kind of sad though, since there are such awesome people there :(

Don't try to force yourself make something. Do it when you feel like it. I don't know if you keep a blog, but if you do, the concept is quite similar

Hrmmm. I just look at other graphics. I don't like copy them or anything, but if it reminds me of something I should do/make, I'll put it down on paper.
And wow at how so many people get inspiration from like music, and books, and stuff. I don't know how you guys inspiration from that :T I don't get anything from it D: |

In addition some mentioned above...
I don't wait for an epiphany or inspiration to hit; I simply start. Mistakes force me to venture off-path, and the effort eventually gives way to progress, and progress, motivation. So, experimentation. I suggest starting out rough and seeing what happens. You can do it. |
