Anyone here meant to be a catholic, but is really just so pointlessly bad and doesn't try anymore? Irish catholics unite!

Same, except I'm an agnostic as opposed to an atheist. But - why so harsh with the title?

Nope. Being a catholic seems so haaardd...I'm a Lutheran (swedes =]) and I don't have many..rules. Well you know follow the commandments and all of that, but sins can be forgiven anyway. So Idk but all I have to do is show up for church once in a while

I was baptized cathloic, but, I don't get the opportunity to practice it when my parents don't go to church, and I'm always busy on sundays and saturdays. But, I do belive in cathloic ways, and study the bible.

I'm Catholic, although I disagree with what some things the church wants be to believe, like anti-homosexuality. I'm pro-homosexuality/bisexuality.

incorrect. the Catholic Cathecism actual states that Catholics are to tolerate homosexuals.

Sometimes I'm ashamed to say I'm a catholic because of all of the politics in churches. I still belive in god, but I don't go to church.

bite me, then dont reply with bull like that. What did that do but spread antipathic feeling in a community?
Offensive? yeah if your insecure.
On a lighter note, we have a club at school where the catholics just unite as failures. Goddamn rules.

I was baptized as a Roman Catholic, and was raised as a Roman Catholic. Even once, I didn't have any problem about the Church's movement through any circumstances.
