Let me get this straight, you have NO eyelids? That would mean that you'd have your empty eye socket, and then an eyeball just hanging there surrounded by bone.
Everyone has eyelids, dear. But I get what you mean. I'm Chinese, too, and I don't have deep set eyes, but at least I do have some sort of a crease. I avoid harsh dark eyeliner because it makes my eyes look even smaller (and, plus the fact that I'd look like a whore, but that's besides the topic). If I were you, I'd avoid it at all costs. Unless you're going for an evening out and want to make it more dramatic. Even then, I'd avoid liner on the lower lashline and NEVER line around the entire eye. Matte shadows look horrible on me. Sparkles are a little overboard. I go for something in the middle. I find that using a more shimmery, glistening cream shadow in a pale gray on my upper lids and the inner corners of my eyes really catches and reflects the light, and makes my eyes look bigger and more awake. Especially in the inner corners/tear ducts. It really helps. I drew a picture on Paint because I was really bored, and also because I'm a visual learner. The areas circled in red should have the highest concentration of colour. Notice how the upper lid is shaded so that it follows the contours of the brow bone. =) |

She means she doesn't have double eyelids. I'm pretty sure we knew that's what she meant, but I was just poking fun at her exagerrated-ness. And also...even if you're Asian and you do have double eyelids, the eye shape is way different than that of a non-Asian. There is almost no depth in the crease and so less of the eyelid is exposed. They're much less deep-set. |

They sell them a lot in Japan and a lot of my friends use them too. Or there's that glue stuff for your eyelids so you can get a crease. Heard they work really well and it's hard to notice the glue... or something like that. |

actually, koreans have developed cosmetic surgery to get the double eyelids It's not just Korea. Cosmetic surgery for double eyelids is available all over the world, but it's just especially popular in Asia, in this case Korea because many Koreans don't have double eyelids. |

You did the diagram on Paint? That's crazy. Hmm.. well.. I have double eyelids myself (duh), but I know this girl who doesn't, and well, her makeup's usually pretty sweet:

I don't have the crease but i wear eyeliner and sometimes eyeshadow and it looks fine.
If you wear eveyshadow, make it darker near yuor eyelash and lighten it as you go up, you might want to make it go a bit high just beacuse when you open your eyes part of the eyeshadow disappears, so if you had put it high it gives the illusion that you have the crease, or at least it does to me. |
