Yes. The brackets can get stuck together, but if you can manuever your way free the way you got caught then theres no need to see your ortho :D Lol

 I had a friend of mine that got stuck, they both had braces on the ones that wrap around your teeth the bands.....and they had to get another friend of mine to get help to get unstuck.....so yes you can...
