Rockets whoop on the Failblazers 100-86. Tmac lead the game with 35 points woot woot!
Unfortunately Shaq's back with the heat and brought the Heat a win over the Wizards in OT. 104-102. C'mon Areans! Butler! Good news for the Lakers, because not only does it mean that Kobe can twist Dwade's ankles this Christmas, it also means that Shaq's gonna be featured on his first ever poster Hornets were stung tonight as they couldn't cap the win against sac town in a loss 100-110 In final, Detroit whooped on the clippers!! yea yea! 109-101 |

Okay, I'm posting again--this is just some hockey news, not results or anything..
QUOTE Liles Named To U.S. Olympic Team (12/19/2005) DENVER – Colorado Avalanche defenseman John-Michael Liles was named to the USA Olympic squad that will compete at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. The official Olympic team unveiling came Monday evening prior to the Minnesota-Dallas game carried live on the Outdoor Life Network. Liles, 25, is making his first appearance on the USA Olympic Roster, after having represented Team USA with the U.S. National Junior squad in 2000, with the U.S. World Cup team in 2004 and the U.S. World Championship squad last spring. Liles was also a member of the U.S. National Development Teams in 1997-98 (U-17) and 1998-99 (U-18). Liles is coming off a rookie season in 2003-04 which saw him garner NHL All-Rookie honors. He led all rookie defensemen in points (34) and goals (10) and set the franchise mark for goals by a rookie defenseman. Thus far in 2005, he’s tallied eight goals and 16 assists, tops among Avalanche defensemen in both categories. Liles will join his Olympic squad teammates when the NHL breaks for the Olympics February 13-26. The U.S. squad will open Olympic competition on February 15 vs. Latvia (1 pm MST). YAYYYY!!!!! |

Lakers Drop Close One
Kwame Brown's dunk with 19.4 seconds left tied the score, but Houston's Tracy McGrady hit a driving layup with 0.3 ticks remaining to hand the Lakers a 76-74 loss on Sunday. Kobe Bryant scored 24 for Los Angeles, which led by as many as 12. The defeat was the Lakers' first in four games. edit// Holy freakin cow!! Kobe Bryant, records a career high 62 points (ha!! surpasses Snaquille Ofat;neal) in just 3 quarters!! In only 33 minutes!! Outscoring the Mavericks all by himself through 3 quarters! 62-61. Also setting the curve for the NbA's high 52 points surpassing Lebron James. Who needed more then 33 minutes, and 4 quarters to score that 52. I wonder who has the nerve to doubt this guy? |

Lakers prevail over the Magic 104-88.
The Nets also defeat the Heat 95-88. The game could of been a little preview for tommorow's game!! Vince Carter lit the Heat up!! Heat had no answers against Vinsanity. Tommorow's game could be a different story... Kobe is much much much more talented then Vince is. If Kobe explodes and carries the team to victory... then I consider that my official christmas present from Santa |

^Aw That was a good game though! Not even one handshake or anything between Kobe and Shaq..at least last year they did something. Yesterday was one of the very few times I was rooting for the Lakers, and I was disappointed with the result, but it was definitely a fun game to watch.
edit// December 26th scores-- Nuggets beat the Golden State Warriors :) Avs beat the Phoenix Coyotes 7-4 after coming back from a 3-0 defecit!! YAY. This post has been edited by Teesa: Dec 27 2005, 01:50 AM |

Pwuahahahaha
Queen James chokes once again!! Once against TMcNasty, and against Kobe The Great. Injured and still able to drop those clutch buckets, theres a reason why he IS the best player in the league today and years to come. He played great D against James, only time I saw James score while Kobe was guarding him was when he abused screens off of Ilgauskas. 81-90, Cav's lost to Houston because of TMcNasty. 98-99, Cav's lose because of Kay Bee Eight The Great. |
