As a lot of people seem to post about certain results here and there, I decided to make a thread were you talk about results. Any kind of sporting result you want,
Soccer
American Football
Baseball
Basketball
Boxing
Hockey
Wrestling
Volleyball
etc.
Soccer:
Celtic 3-0 Rangers
Dull game, great result. Hartson on 12 minutes, Balde on 56 and Mc Geady on 60. Amazing to see an entire stand chanting "easy!" and clapping their hands. Simply phenomenal.

Bank of Scotland Scottish Premier League Table

1) Celtic 15 29 38
2) Hearts 15 21 36

5) Kilmarnock 15 1 20

12) Dunfermline 15 -21 5
So, I'm a Celtic fan and we're top of the table! (Most Irish people will support Scottish teams because of the poor soccer quality here in Ireland). Our big rivals Rangers are having a terrible year, while Hearts are having one of the greatest years in their history. (P= Games Played, GD= the difference between how many a team has scored and how many a team has conceded, and PTS=Points)
In case you don't know, this is how it works:
Win=3 points
Draw= 1 point
Lose= 0 points
(How many games played is on the left, goal difference is in the centre, and points is on the right)

Celtic 0-1 Dunfermline
Disgraceful performance. Top of the league and lost at home to the team who are bottom of the league. With out Japenese sensation Shunsuke Nakamura, we were dreadful.
Second place Hearts got a penalty in the last minute (DAMN!) in a seperate game, so we're still a point ahead.
EDIT:
Hibernian 2-1 Rangers
Always nice to see your biggest rivals get defeated. That win keeps it a three horse race at the top. Hibernian were simply better than Rangers today.

Oh my god I love it. Miami... wheres the heat? Guys are looking pretty cold!!
Clippers straight out whooped the Heat 99-89
No doubt the player of the game being Brand with 37 points, 12 rebounds, and six blocked shots shutting Miami down!!
In other NBA news the bulls lost to the Mavs but also lost Key player... Kirk Hinrich who left the building a little more then three minutes after tipoff. His leaving only led the team to step it up as Ben Gordon and Luol Deng continued their stellar play off the bench scoring 26 and 25 points respectively. Yet still lost to the Dallas Mavericks... 102-94.
Also the Timberwolves played dominating defense on their way to a 91-77 victory in Utah on Monday. Minnesota held the Jazz to under 38 percent field-goal shooting, allowing just 34 points in the second half. Wally Szczerbiak stayed hot, scoring 26 points on 8-of-16 shooting, including 3-of-5 from downtown. Kevin Garnett chipped in 21 points. The win was the Timberwolves' third-straight to start a four-game road trip, which concludes in Portland on Wednesday.

Liles Named To U.S. Olympic Team
(12/19/2005)
DENVER – Colorado Avalanche defenseman John-Michael Liles was named to the USA Olympic squad that will compete at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy. The official Olympic team unveiling came Monday evening prior to the Minnesota-Dallas game carried live on the Outdoor Life Network.
Liles, 25, is making his first appearance on the USA Olympic Roster, after having represented Team USA with the U.S. National Junior squad in 2000, with the U.S. World Cup team in 2004 and the U.S. World Championship squad last spring. Liles was also a member of the U.S. National Development Teams in 1997-98 (U-17) and 1998-99 (U-18).
Liles is coming off a rookie season in 2003-04 which saw him garner NHL All-Rookie honors. He led all rookie defensemen in points (34) and goals (10) and set the franchise mark for goals by a rookie defenseman. Thus far in 2005, he’s tallied eight goals and 16 assists, tops among Avalanche defensemen in both categories.
Liles will join his Olympic squad teammates when the NHL breaks for the Olympics February 13-26. The U.S. squad will open Olympic competition on February 15 vs. Latvia (1 pm MST).

Lakers Drop Close One
Kwame Brown's dunk with 19.4 seconds left tied the score, but Houston's Tracy McGrady hit a driving layup with 0.3 ticks remaining to hand the Lakers a 76-74 loss on Sunday. Kobe Bryant scored 24 for Los Angeles, which led by as many as 12. The defeat was the Lakers' first in four games.

Holy freakin cow!!
Kobe Bryant, records a career high 62 points (ha!! surpasses Snaquille Ofat;neal) in just 3 quarters!! In only 33 minutes!! Outscoring the Mavericks all by himself through 3 quarters! 62-61. Also setting the curve for the NbA's high 52 points surpassing Lebron James. Who needed more then 33 minutes, and 4 quarters to score that 52. I wonder who has the nerve to doubt this guy?

Queen James chokes once again!! Once against TMcNasty, and against Kobe The Great. Injured and still able to drop those clutch buckets, theres a reason why he IS the best player in the league today and years to come. He played great D against James, only time I saw James score while Kobe was guarding him was when he abused screens off of Ilgauskas.
