You asked, so I told you. Do you understand why you were warned, now?

I've explained, but I guess you just don't get it. Anyways, wait two weeks and your warn level will be lowered. In the meantime, try to stay out of trouble. thumbsup.gif

QUOTE(kreios @ Sep 12 2008, 11:49 AM) *
The only problem with that is the people that participate in these contests tend to always jump on the bandwagon. The nomination/voting method was one of the ways to tackle that. And so no winner can be established on the second day just because 10 people came in the topic, they don't have anything to nominate themselves, so they just go with one of the current nominations, and you'll start to see "i'll second that, third that, fourth, etc, etc."

I don't think you should group everybody into the "bandwagon-jumping" type. Obviously, people with no opinions wouldn't even go into the thread and obviously, they wouldn't second/third/etc nominations that they think are crap.

It's ridiculous that you keep getting on anyone's back who nominates something twice. If you're that concerned about it, make a thread where people PM you the nominations instead of replying to a thread and you post the nomination up on the first post.

I personally think the running nomination/vote idea is the best.

I agree that some people jump on the bandwagon a bit, but I don't think everyone should be classified like that. There will be people who will post with a different site, and if there isn't, maybe someone from the DS could throw one in to keep things interesting. I think controlling a voting & nomination thread is a lot easier than doing this whole nominate then vote business. Let's face it: People don't read. And besides, who's going to come back for the voting thread, anyway? It's best to get it all over with at once.

So yeah, I agree that we should go with doing voting and nominating at the same time.

Actually you insulted Kevin, and he expressed his discontent about how you acted, and so I warned you. I will lower your warning level as soon as I can, as people seem to think that I am some comical person.

so more or less you just fill everyone's wants and desires no matter how petty and baby-faced they are? i was expressing my "discontent" for kevin's lame-ass-spamming-scum-bucket-ness. and, if he happens to express his "discontent" for my "discontent" that means i must, in all cases, by warned? do you even know what discretion is or do you just like the taste of shit on your lips?

booo hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Are you just mad that you aren't a mod anymore and you were 20 and still in high school? Hop the f**k off you Dave Grohl wanna be. Imma rock star, my band makes sissy ass records about sitting around the campfire and f**king telling Barney stories. I don't have to kiss anybody's ass. Somebody complained about something and I addressed it. Is that not what I am supposed to do? Stop trying to act like you are some big bad wolf and just fall the f**k back. You got warned and bitched about it, so I said that I would lower the warning. If you wanted to make it a big deal and prove a point, then you should have addressed it via pm or through another outlet. Issue closed.

I'm gonna have to side w/ Nate on this one. Stupid warning, no matter how annoying he is to y'all. Everyone else bashes, he's just a disliked target and y'all were biased in this warn. Warning for bashing is lame.

I wasn't biased at all. I even said that I would lower it, because I used poor judgement, but he felt the need to open his mouth even more.

Explain to me how responding to a post in which something foul was said, constitutes having something against somebody? I have nothing against Nate, but if he wants to lob insults, then I will too.

Javonn, he didn't attack you directly. He was protesting a warning he didn't feel that he deserved. You went around and made it all personal... it's not right.
