How on earth can you think a 14-year old is mature enough to deal with the psychological and emotional after effects of being used?
And at that age, it *is* being used. Not only are they below the age of consent (which is there for a REASON), but they will have destroyed a very precious gift, are probably ill-advised regarding concepts of contraception and safe-sex and will have little idea of what 'making love' should be in contrast to just 'doing it'. Best idea? Get a chastity belt for Christsakes. |

Well you guys are all saying they couldn't handle a kid. I don't think they intend on having children at 14, but that is true, most 14 year olds are immature. Too immature to understand the consequences of sex.
Although, I'm not one to judge, some 14 year olds are mature, just not a vast majority of them. If they're ready for sex, and to understand the great responsibility that comes with it, then yes, it's fine for a 14 year old to be having sex. |

But fourteen maybe, I think if you understand the consequenses, use protection, and understand what you are giving up then go ahead. But I don't think you should have sex for any reason except that you feel ready, not because everyone else is doing it.
