Original post:
Okay, so I am not trying to be racist or anything, but who here agrees with me that the black people are getting way more recognition than the whites? Now we have black history month, black activists month, and negro colleges/college funds? This is just not fair. Everyone believes that if we have a white history month then we will be racist? We aren't. Blacks are getting everything nowadays and if the white people try to put say into anything, it gets shoved back in our face as a racist comment. I love black history and everything, but I have pride in being white and we get no recognition whatsoever? Does anyone agree with me.. And please don't say I am being racist. I live in the South for God's sake. here's a link to the original thread: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=58363 things to keep in mind whilest you debate:

Josh and Co. -
You have exactly ONE post in which to refute not breaking ANY of the following: QUOTE - that it's semi-intelligent - that people can actually have solid opinions on it - that people can actually back up these opinions with solid facts, not just personal opinions and feelings QUOTE CONTROVERSY Think before you post. Everyone is different and everyone has different stances on certain issues. A little tact is never a bad thing. When you have an argument, it's better to post with reasoning justifying your views. Avoid saying things that creates or has the potential of creating controversy. And when I say refute, I want you to BACK IT UP with something valid. You guys know how Debate works. Would your school allow this? Please don't get me wrong, I appreciate any and all debates, AS LONG as they're real debates. Mods (ANY People Staff, Head Staff or Admin) - if you come across this thread and they have responded without validating this as a real debate (ie, actually posting some facts, news, statistics or anything of the like) then close it. OH and you do realize that cussing isn't allowed RIGHT? Fine, let me remind you then: QUOTE Cussing is not allowed. Take a few minute and read over both the Community Guidelines and the Debate Forum Rules. |

OH and you do realize that cussing isn't allowed RIGHT? Fine, let me remind you then: Take a few minute and read over both the Community Guidelines and the Debate Forum Rules. Well, ok... ;] I don't know, apparently this was a valid debate way back in the day (Feb 2006). For some reason it was closed after 700+ posts were made in it... I guess the mod who closed the post said they would re-open it and never did. Boom boom... Check it: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php...e+History+Month LOL@Boom boom check it. However, you posting a thread to a similar debate that was closed due to the volume of posts isn't what I asked. What I asked is that you refute (in one post) why you haven't broken ANY of the posted guidelines. For example, the referring to any one group of people as yellow, red isn't respectful. ;-) This doesn't help: QUOTE Well, I'm black, and like I don't know... QUOTE The problem with having a Yellow History month is that none of the yellow's leave they're computers long enough to celebrate it. Neither does "injins." Come on guys. I have no problems leaving this open, just have some respect. Which would mean not likening seasons to the color of people. K? Rephrase your first post (which was my point, really). ROFL, longest edit EVER! jk ;) Josh, just work with me here, ok?
