Okay, so I am not trying to be racist or anything, but who here agrees with me that the black people are getting way more recognition than the whites? Now we have black history month, black activists month, and negro colleges/college funds? This is just not fair. Everyone believes that if we have a white history month then we will be racist? We aren't. Blacks are getting everything nowadays and if the white people try to put say into anything, it gets shoved back in our face as a racist comment. I love black history and everything, but I have pride in being white and we get no recognition whatsoever? Does anyone agree with me.. And please don't say I am being racist. I live in the South for God's sake. here's a link to the original thread: http://www.createblog.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=58363 things to keep in mind whilest you debate:
Seriously, enlighten us to another race or class of people you have considered more prejudiced against in the history of our country which should get its own month. Women rightfully get their month as well, seeing how it is March. How come I don't see any threads complaining about their month? J/W.... As I was saying though, besides women the only group/class/race I view as being largely discriminated against in our society is gays... but that's another topic... Ok, so Irish and Chinese built the railroads... this was one isolated event in our history. Give or take 30 yrs. Maybe blacks are considered too favorably in some instances of our country. I don't agree with that but I can understand the perspective. To question a motnh is foolish
really? i didnt even kno women had their own history month nd thats probably because its not made nearly as much as a big as black history month thats why nobodys complaining because women dont cry sexism as much as blacks use the racecard |
