Its fine. As long as he doesnt pressure you to do anything, then there should be no problem.

you automatically assume that she/he was talking about her/himself rolleyes.gif

anyways just like she said. Sometimes older kids might pressure younger ones to doing wrong things. Otherwise it's fine. It just looks weird if the 14-year old is like...short..and the 17-year old...is TALL...now that would look weird

Personally, I think it is kinda weird. The physical features are too different at ages like that. A three year age gap is by no meansbad or weird, but at those ages it is kinda. 17 year olds are...bigger. The average 14 year old is like, 5'4.

Actually, I wasnt assuming it was her talking about herself. I said as long as he doesnt pressure you to do anything , in reference to her question, not in refernce w/ the assumption that it was her current situation.

I think height difference doesnt really look weird. Unless its the guy shorter than the girl by a LOT, but theres no problem with that either.

I don't think it's weird at all. Of course, it isn't age that matters so much as maturity. He should be careful once he turns 18 though. ;)

There is nothing wrong with that as long as he doesn't pressure you into doing things you don't want to do and whatever.

I don't think there's a problem with it. If both parties can handle the relationship maturely, what's the big deal?

Thanks. I'm going to leave this one open (for now), since it's a personal situation, or might be a personal situation.

no it's not big deal, it's only 2 years different. i'm 15 turning 16 and my bf's 17 turning 18..
does it matter if he's tall or that girls short, i mean just as long as you like each other and isn't pressured to do anything, i don't see the problem

no. mellow.gif i don't think that's a big deal at all. as long as they're cool w/ it and they relate to eachother, age doesn't mean anything. but there will always be people saying how messed up age differences are, but those people get uncomfortable with a one year difference, so whatever.

I think it's ok. The girl must realize that the boy might want a little more out of the relationship physically than she does, and she needs to be able to set boundaries.

The age diifference shouldn't be a problem it's normal. Especially if the younger person in the relationship is mature.

I'm 6'1 and my girlfriend is 5'2. :-X Hypocritical, I know, but a 14 and 17 year old going out just seems odd to me.
