I'm not saying like 20 years of difference between the guy and the girl, but let's say a 17 year old girl and 15 year old guy, just asking. Share opinions.

Age shouldn't matter. It's just that for me, I think that it's more common for a guy to be older. But it really doesn't matter. "Age is just a #"

17 and 15 is only two years different.

Let's put it this way, 5 years is alot when you're talking about people who are 20 and 15, but it really shouldn't matter when theyre 25-30. You know?

Age does matter, despite what anyone says, it makes a difference...I've gone out with a 30 year old (10 years my age diff) and we just didn't have enough in common and didn't like doing the same things... And I've gone out with a 17 year old...And it was illegal...And everyone made a big deal out of it... Even tho it was only 3 years difference.

In a case where both parties are under 18 and above 14 i don't think its too big a deal...As long as you both like each other...

Mai cousin's a year younger than his gf(who btw, is a very close friend of mine). And they never formally announced their relationship to the public til now, and they've been together for like 3 years or so. They were a bit uncomfortable to tell us they were going out, mai friend was graduating, and mai cousin was well.. a junior, and they thought that they would get unappreciative looks and comments if we knew it. But honestly, age doesnt matter. And yah, at times couples who accept that fact in their relationships don't work but its mostly because they've never really completely "worked" for each other. As long as they do love each other, and it isn't just the face(more than the kissable lips or the gummy kisses xD *eeewww*) anything is possible. My close aunt is about 3 years older than her husband, and so far, after years of marriage, they've been quite successful(there were a few problems here and there of course). My aunt's that kind of girl who usually needs someone to help her with decisions(she sees something nice and shiny, she's tempted to buy it blink.gif ) but is a complete neat freak while mai uncle's the type of guy who knows how to make decisions(he's very good at bargains too o.o;;) and has a hard time cleaning up for himself(to mention a few characteristics). So.. they quite match. Overall, it's the chemistry between two people that matters ^.^

actually if the girl is 17 and the guy is fifteen...well...guys tend to be less mature in general. And if you have a fifteen year old guy and a girl that is already two years older than him....

I just can see that you would have some problems, but not in all cases, mind you. But usually it is true.

I am 17 and I wouldn't want to date a guy that was two years younger than me, just because guys tend to mature slower. I am friends with a ton of guys that are a couple of years younger, so I know what i am talking about.

Girls may mature earlier than guys, but they stop upto a certain point, where as guys would continue to mature.

Just my thought.

you know what, it doesnt matter honestly. but when it comes down to it, the maturity level, does not level up what so ever. though they might fall in love with each other, and fall head over heels, but it'll end up with age. age does not matter, but the maturity level is completely different. and when you think about it, it sucks you know.... cause this happened to me, and i'm trying to get over that person.

My nephewss mom is 27 years old (28 on the 13th of April) and she's going out with a 20 year old(or 21) That's a big difference, but no one seems to care or mind. She goes for younger men. I personally go for older guys

15 and 17 is no biggie. I'm 15 and my BF is 18. I think it all depends on how mature a person is.

2 years? You're worried about 2 years? 2 years is nothing. I mean, to be honest, there's a slim chance that you guys are gonna stay together 'til her graduation anyways right? So just have fun _smile.gif
People marry each other when they're 15 years apart.

Oh, and sorry if I was harsh.

generally, i'd say that age shouldn't matter, especially if you really like each other (y else would u b in a relationship??) but when you're younger....like gr 5-6, 1 or 2 years seems like a big difference, and things like changing skools n stuff kinda sux... but i guess as u get older its not as big of a problem...
