i was almost always on invisible when i was on staff, and before it, and now. i almost never sign out though so i just keep the same setting automatically and never really think about it. anyway i've never really had a problem though with anyone wanting to sign on that way
![]() i think resolved threads should work like they do in the resource center. |

Hi, guys.
Due to something which happened very recently, I will have to be on very low/no activity for the next few days, at least. This is a personal issue, so I can't give a definitive time frame. I'm posting this here because the absent thread has disappeared from the pinned section of the lounge, and this was quicker than searching. |

what i find interesting - and somewhat annoying - is that most of you who are so intent on tearing someone down - you wouldnt be able to make a good design even if someone was to give you a million dollars; if youre going to ostracize someone in public, at least be qualified at their level. Wow, way to blatantly put down EVERYONE on this site. That was a really uncall for comment, and dumb thing to say imo. Give me a penny, and I'll made a layout and good design. If she was SOOO good at designing, why would she need to jock and copy images? What does that say of her as a designer. I rather be an average designer, than a designer who supposedly a so called 'expert' who jocks and reuse layout concepts. Sorry, but I really got offended by this comment you said, because you really act like Trish is above as all, and that she is on some kind of "level" that is higher than ours. She is not above me, nor is she under me. We're all equal here. It's like saying since we aren't on someone's level we shouldn't criticize them? So should we not criticize our president. He's above our level is he not? |

The difference between us and I think the thing isn't really about Trish using the image without crediting; it's more about her not being able to say she was wrong and should have given credit. Bitch, own up to your shit. |

He's above our level is he not? hi, i apologize, it was a stupid thing to say. i didn't mean to put Trish above everyone else, i dont believe that. i was expressing my frustration over the whole situation, considering that most people learn how to web design first by imitating other designs, and more often than not, not crediting them. most designers would readily agree with me on that fact, so i found it annoying when people who aren't designers were so ready to attack her (without knowing the real situation behind "jocking" - everyone did it at one point in their designing 'careers'). but this doesnt excuse Trish from brushing everything away, considering her reaction to Mike's previous mistakes. i could have expressed myself better, so i apologize. |

we just want her to admit that she did something wrong. why is that so damn difficult? |

Thanks Jusun. I agree that as a beginner designer, I too did jock and didn't credit images I used. But we are talking about an expert here, who jocked so that's sort of different. She's no beginner, and fully well know what she did. But yeah again, thanks for the clear up Jusun.

It was nice that you at least owned up to your mistake, though. |

we just Why is that so damn difficult? Obviously she doesn't have the time to deal with this, what with all the interviews and "clients" she has. Might I add onto what Elba, Tung, and Spencer said: Since As for "I found it annoying when people who aren't designers were so ready to attack her", does that mean that someone who doesn't necessarily design should not voice their opinions? That's like saying just because some people cannot play any instrument, that they don't have the right to critique any musical piece. ![]() Although I forgot to add, thanks for clearing up what you said in the other thread. ![]() |

Did she post in the absent thread or something?
As head staff, she really hasn't been doing much modding lately. If all the staff members were as MIA as she is right now, we could be having a rally out there and nobody would notice. Just sayin'. |

I wouldn't count on Trisj addressing this situation anytime soon (if at all).
Anyway, I think Cristy stands out the most. If anyone is going to be the next admin, it should definitely be her. She's been doing a great job and I see her post everywhere. |

To image tag or not to image tag! For some reason it is sticking in my mind that if the picture was on a page previous, that it was reasonable to have the image reposted. I’ll need to check around the forum to see why that is in my brain. Having said that, if not everyone is moderating consistently, I can see why that would be confusing and frustrating. Ruth did bring this up Backstage and we’ll get on the same train of thought so that things can be handled more evenly. Ever since I was on staff we've always come to the agreement that if it's a few pages back (or one, too, I suppose) that it's okay to leave the image tags, so that the person who's reading the post wouldn't have to search through previous pages to find it. I understand why people say that the image tags should go, because when someone quotes the image the URL is still there and is still able to be clicked (if the person quoted it right). With that being said, a lot of people have high speed internet... so it shouldn't take THAT long for an image to load. |

I don't think I'd want to be an admin, though, because there's so much pressure to do things correctly. Being Head Staff is enough. But really I appreciate your comment. As for the whole image tag thing, it was discussed some Backstage, and I just posted this in the current Members' Photos topic: QUOTE Just so we're all clear: Starting from today, all People Staffers will warn members who quote images even though they know better than to do that. Remove the image tags for them, then raise their warning level. We have to be consistent here. People don't need to click back through the pages to find the photo that's being discussed. Instead, they can click the red arrow in the quoted post, which will take them back to the original post with the photo in it. Simple. That's what the red arrow is there for. |

Thomas, I don't do PMs. I'd rather speak to the mod staff as a whole.
Now inform me. Which rule does posting pictures of turds break? Far worse has been posted by both myself and others. |

But he declared war because he was suspended over something he shouldn't have been suspended for (like you just said). So...it wouldn't have happened if he wasn't suspended. So...his posts now being used as punishment is pretty much invalid and stupid.

It's kryogenix, not kyro, you illiterate asscommander.
My posts have been completely relevant. I posted f**king bulls in a rape thread. I posted vomiting in response to a post about vomiting. And besides, that's completely irrelevant seeing as the f**king warning in my warn log has nothing to do with spammy or pointless posts. My posting ability was suspended because of the offensive nature of my posts, when worse has been posted in the past. What in the f**k. What a useless mod you are. |

You papaya groping simpleton. I read your PM, and I've already stated that my problem is that my posting ability shouldn't have been suspended in the first place. THE ONLY REASON I MADE ANOTHER ACCOUNT WAS SO THAT I COULD COMMUNICATE HERE, BUT YOU ANUS MCGILLACUDDYS JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT DO YOU?
Why is it so hard to get a decent explanation from you guys? Unsuitable IMGs is bullshit. I've posted shit before, other people have posted shit before, but all of a sudden, it's not allowed? EVEN CARTOON POOP? What in the f**k. THE IMAGES WEREN'T EVEN REMOVED UNTIL A WHILE AFTER. WHAT IN THE ASS STEALING SHIT SALAD WAS THAT ABOUT? Are they unsuitable or not? If they are unsuitable, why the f**k would you leave them up for a while longer? ANSWER: THE MODS HAVE SOME BULLSHIT AGENDA AGAINST ME. I mean, f**k, there's a SPECIAL RULE BACKSTAGE FOR ME? What in the cactus penis camel f**k is that? |
