If you want to delete aoftwars/programs then go to control panel. In vista open programs and features and uninstall any programs you want, in xp I think you open add remove programs.

i've had free avg, norton and all that stuff.
but last year i downloaded avast! antivirus and i must say, i am very impressed with it.

It will only make it faster and make it look different.
It will only delete files in your trash can and temporary internet files which you never see, need or use.

It is harmless.
