It took about a year for the hole to cover up. I had to squirt water into it with a plastic syringe in order to get the food out of the hole. that's about it.. i think you should get all four taken out. damn i have to pick food out of a gaping hole in my mouth? THIS SHIT JUST GETS WORSE AND WORSE SOUNDING. |

don't get them taken out unless it's absolutely necessary. I mean, I had braces end of my freshman year of highschool. My dentist had the option of taking out my wisdom teeth, and she decided not to.

I used a waterpic to get the food out of the holes in my gums.
And don't mess around and get dry socket. That shit is NOT fun. |

Word. Several studies have suggested that at least 60% of wisdom teeth removals are unnecessary [1]. |

i think you should get them removed while you're young.
It's going to cost a lot more if you're older. I think my wisdom teeth were sideways... so that was bad. They could also mess up your teeth i think.. if it doesn't grow correctly. |

ok you need to go to a doctor who will without hesitation put you to sleep. its torture if you are awake through the procedure.
this is what happened to me -got an IV in my right hand -woke up and drifted into my moms car -threw up some of the nasty anesthetic when i got home -went to sleep for a few horus -drank a smoothie that my mom went to get -took different meds at different times. went back to work two days later. that was about two months ago. |

^ Oh yeah, it was pretty weird for me too. I don't really know what they did to me, but I was aware that they were doing stuff to my teeth, just in and out of consciousness I would say. They told me I started hyperventilating and crying out of nowhere. wtf? I don't remember it though.

that makes me think of this one time i was getting a cavity filled and i was on that gas stuff they give you and i started thinking about how this could all be some plot to get me in there so they could kill me. it seemed reasonable at the time.

when i was put asleep.. i think i felt pressure on chest. Then all of a sudden i wake up for like 2 secs during the procedure. After that i find myself awake with my mouth swollen and they were done.
Just get it over with |

LOL It was probably the gas that clouded your judgment. Fitting... |

Sorry JC, your worrying is wearing off on me.
I've never been gased at the dentist If I knew that was going to happen I'd MAKE someone else go back with me, just to make sure... you never know... |

he took xrays of mine and we looked at them. mine aren't even grown in a lot. he said from looking at how developed they are he would have guessed i was about 16 not 20, and that mine are really slow growing. whatever that means.
then he told him they needed to come out. i guess all four. i don't know, he wasn't that specific. he said some shit about my bone growing around my tooth and i was like |

I was hoping that you wouldn't have to get them removed. But, I guess, on the bright side, since they aren't that developed hopefully it won't cause much discomfort or swelling.

awww. don't worry too much about it, it'll be fine. I've known so many people who've had to get their wisdom teeth taken out, and they were all eating solids in a week.
