Cute layout! Purple on black background looks good. Pretty banner too, the "x" is interesting. Cool how the nav is placed not at the side of the nav like everyone mostly does. Good job with this layout! =]

Everything is great except:

the green and red "x" and the dialogue bubble with "yeah".

I think it could do much better without those, imo.

The X-ing out of her mouth and eyes doesn't work with the look of the banner or the feel of the layout. It's good work overall, but the layout would look nicer if you'd left the Xes out.
