Alright, this is my first tutorial so spare me the mean comments.
I'm going to teach you how to make a picture look like a graphic drawing. This is really easy. You've probably even figured it out!
So, first step, open your picture.

I'm using this picture from "Jaws" (pretty, huh?)
Step One:
Make the movie based on a book look like a picture from a book with a photo from the movie. AKA: Make it look like a drawing, not a movie still

So, you have it open. Now, the next step is easy!
Set your foreground color to black, background to white.
Go to...
Filters --> Sketch --> Graphic Pen
Now, set it so the image is still recognizable (I used Stroke Length: 15, Light/Dark Balance: 27, and right diagonal).

You get something like this.
Step Two:
Making it look less like a movie still
Now, you can see where it's straight lines, right? That probably wouldn't be in an illustration, so, here's the tedious part: set your brush to pencil, set your color to white, and make the size 1px. Go to all the straight-line places and sketch in the same direction as the other white lines and make it uneven so that it looks like there aren't any borders.
Step Two Point Two (extra):
In case you face the same problem of something important getting chopped off (like the top of Brody's head. He needs that), after you've done the graphic pen, fill in the shape that got cut off with the pencil set to black and at your desired size.
Step Three:
Captions?
If you want, you can add a caption and make it like in books somehow do. Just add your text to the bottom of the picture. I recommend a more "booky" font like Bell MT or Baskerville Old Face (what I used).
You get this:

So, the results:

Eh wot? Now go get it printed.
Feedback greatly appreciated
