this will teach you how to make more than one stroke on an object.
step 1: open up a new document, whatever settings you want.
step 2: use the text tool to make some text. in your layer palette, go to "Blending Options".
step 3: in "Blending Options", choose "Stroke" from the checkboxes on the left hand side. then use these settings:
you can make the gradient whatever colors you like. now...SURPRISE! that's all there is to it! wasn't that easy?
