animation shop 3 tutorial

my user name on iconator is penguins_in_red

Hopefully you already downloaded Animation shop 3 but if not here is the link



First choose the paper and make your icon 48x48 or 100x100 if you are making an avatar



then take the paint can and right click on the icon to make it white


Pick your color, we are picking blue



Now write in some text



it will look like this



now click the paint brush and set the size to 1 we are going to outline the font



it should look like that because you are outlining the font with another color


now go to animation>>replace color we are replacing the blue with white because our animation is going to be blue



use the eye dropper to get the blue on the icon the click the color block that is new color and pick your color



now right click and duplicate slides make at least 17 you can add more or delete the extra later


now select your color and put it in all the frames like this




get a slightly lighter color and do the same thing a keep doing it till your animation looks like this





ok now here is another animation. start back on the first slide and make your icon look like that.


keep doing it till it gets to look like this




then do the same thing with the white that you did with the blue before



it should look like this




your icon should now look like this




so now back to the begining to do another animation




you next slides should look like this




and it should all look like this




when you put it together it will look like this



you probably shouldnt start all the animation on the first slide but i wanted to save room hope that help you guys

Hey, i had trouble downloading the fonts too - but i got it by this tutorial - it's SUPER easy to understand and really good.

I downloaded the font 04b_24 and when i went back 2 make my animation, the font wasnt there. how do i find that font?? what did i do wrong. if i downloaded it wrong, where should i download it?? i serched the download thing off of google.

Oh and by the way, thank you SO much for this tutorial! I really appreciate this. I was trying to figure out how to do these the other day (as simple as it can be; I'm experienced with making buddy icons like this too, I guess I just forgot) and I found this and was like "YAY!!"

To get rid of duplicates: right click-->delete.

how do you get rid of duplicates that you dont use???

i cant seem to get that font when i type things in. what is it?
