MS Paint: 3D Buttons
Hey there.
Today I'll be teaching you how to make a 3D Buttons on MS Paint :biggrin:

It's very easy, just follow the steps (with pics for you convenience).
(1) Open MS Paint.
(2) Resize the page to the size you want your button to be.
If you like the size of mine (above) ...
Go to IMAGE>>ATTRIBUTES and make the Width "143" and Height "119" ( Units in PIXELS)
(3) Choose the colour for your button, then use the Paint Bucket to fill in the area.
(4) Make sure you have selected the previous colour you have used, then go to COLORS>>EDIT COLORS>>DEFINE CUSTOM COLORS.
At the very right side you'll see a bar displaying all the different shades of you selected colour.
Click on the Slider and drag it down to the darkest shade (Not Black!) then click ok.
(5) It's time to make your button 3D!
Use the Magnifying glass to zoom in on your Button, so that it's easier to work with.
Now select the line tool (Size 3 !) and start making lines on all the outer edges of your Button, like so:
After you have done this, go to COLORS>>EDIT COLORS>> DEFINE CUSTOM COLORS
again and make the shade of your colour a bit lighter, then click ok. Do the same as before
Repeat the process, making the shade just a tiny bit lighter every time.
You can stop once you've finished with the colour closest to yours.
When you zoom out, it should look something like this:
Neat, eh? Now you can add some text!

(7) Save (under gif, jpeg or png) and close!

Want to make 'Image Links' out of your 3D buttons but don't know how? Then stay right here and read through this next tutorial.
(1) First you need to find an Image Hosting Site. This is the best one I know: [url=http://photobucket.com/]http://photobucket.com/[/url]
(2) Next step: Sign up.
(3) Go to ' My Album'.
(4) Click on 'browse' to look for your Button. Once you have, double click on it.
Then 'Submit' it.
(5) After you have succesfully uploaded the image, copy the image 'URL'.
(6) And now here's the Code for Image Links:

Where it says "Image Url here" paste your image Url.
Now all you have to do is find the Url of the page you want your Button to Link to and paste it where it says
"URL HERE".
