Click on thumbnailed images to enlarge

Make a new layer by click the 'New Layer' button in the layer options.

Click on the 'Gradient Tool' in the 'Toolbar' On the top of the menu, there is a drop down menu (which has an arrow like this >). Pull that down a select rainbow with transparent. (shown below)

Click on 'Radial Gradient' (shown below)

Now click 'Mode - Multiply' next to it.

Now create as many circles as you would like. Try not to put too many, it will darken out the layer and you will not get to see the effect.

Change the layer mode to 'Soft Light'. Now you can see the final rainbow effect.

i have a question...whenever i do the circles ans change the mode to "soft light" the circles are till on top of the image and solid...like the picture u have be4 the final result..what am i doing wrog??

hi there everyone! i'm back on createblog to show and help you with everything :D ok,here we go multiply is in the layers option and should also be at the top of your photoshop menu. to make the circles, simply choose the radial gradient on the gradient menu.
