Learn how to make black & white images with a splash of colour
By The Way: sorry if you don't understand some parts but i'm mexican and sometimes I don't know how to explain myself in english
If you will guide yourself with the images, I'm using PS CS4 and I installed it in spanish hope you enjoy it :]
1.- open your image, and edit it as you wish
2.- duplicate your layer
3.- after, you need to convert the second layer to black & white, you can do it on:
menu--->image--> adjustments---> desaturate
4.- Select the history Brush and select the size of the brush, this brush will erase the black and white effect and will bring back the colour
your image will looke like this ones:
