Tutorial for pen tool on PHOTOSHOP.

1. First, create a new file. I chose my dimensions 400x400

2. Then, select the pen tool

3. Start by making two points

4. Then make a point in the center. Don't move your mouse from it just yet. ctrl+click and drag until you are satisfied with the curve you make.

P.S. make sure that your brush size is about 2-6 pixels.

5. After you do that, cntrl+click anywhere put on the line. Then right click and press stroke. You can choose if you want to stimulate the pressure or not. Press OK.

You should have gotten something like this (if you stimulated the pressure)

Now you have learned how to make a curve. Next, you can learn how to make shapes like...a heart. But I would practice making curves first. Because making shapes is basically the same thing but the start/end point will be at the same point.

1. So start making your shape. Once you are done, cntrl+click anywhere but on the shape and right click>Fill. Click OK.

2. Then click on this

3. Your result can look like something like this

OR

1. You make your shape and cntrl+click anywhere but on the shape and right click>Stroke however you want it. Click OK.

2. Then click on this

3. Your result can be something like this. I used a 3px brush with non-stimulated pressure to stroke the area.
