Open your starter image (Ctrl+O/Command+O)

I'll be using this image of thelovelymessed up Lindsay Lohan.
Step 1:
Duplicate your base layer and bring it to the top, then set it to Overlay and 100%
(Adjust Opacity if needed)

Step 2:
Create a new fill layer and fill it with #000858, then set it to Exclusion 60%

Step 3:
Create a new fill layer and fill it with #005725, then set it to Exclusion 31%

Step 4:
Duplicate your base layer and bring it to the top, then set it to Multiply and 43%

And this^ is the result :]
Here is the same coloring result on other icons:


I think that these two turned out better, so this would look nice on something with nice outdoor lighting
