Hm, you know how sometimes, when you have a winamp, the name and/or the title of the song is wrong or not the way you want it? [I.E. in capilization, spelled wrong, etc.]
You can change it in a few, easy, simple steps, so that it's in the way you want it! (:
1. Open up your winamp. Since people have different winamp skins, make sure you have your playlist opened. Different skins have different ways to open up playlists, so yeah. If you can't find it, post a screenshot of your skin and maybe I'll help.
If you're using winamp modern (newest version) clicking PL should bring you to your playlist.
2. Find a song title/artist that totally makes you feel like you need to change it.
like for me, one of my songs aren't in right capilization and I dislike that, so I want to change that.
3. Left click on the song name once, if you haven't already. It should've been highlighted. Then, right click on that song name, and click 'View File Info'
4. A pop-up should've came up. k.. and it should've looked something like this:
If ID3v1 is checked, uncheck it. It really has no use..
If ID3v2 isn't checked, check it. That has use. [;
5. Under Title - type in the proper name you want it to be. If there was a name already before, then highlight it, press backspace or delete, and type in the new one you want. (:
Same with the artist.
The album, year, and the others really don't matter.
6. Press Update. Re-Play the song if you've stopped it, and it should've changed.
If it was already playing, then it should've paused a while, then continue playing from where it stopped, and change. (:
There, you should be all done.
If you have questions or anything, feel free to post here. [=
