Photo In Text *Very Easy*

Tutorial

Click on thumbnailed images to enlarge

Step 1 Open Photoshop

Step 2 Go to File then Open find the picture you want to work with and then click it and then open.

***I suggest if you want the overall color around the text to be a certain color set your Foreground color to it. Make sure the color you choose as a foreground is the color on the bottom not the top color***

Step 3 Go to File Then New

A box like my illustration will appear now you can either leave it as is or customize it. If you want white around the text leave it alone, If you choose a specific color in the Foreground box then choose Background color in the Background contents area. Also make sure that you pick a good size so the box doesn't come out too small so set the width and height to your needs. Once you have that done press OK. You might need to play with this step for awhile until you get the sizing right. If you don't get the sizing right close the box and start with step 3 until you're satisfied.

Since I choose a foreground color I will proceed from there. My box is now the size of my original picture which doesn't matter I can always crop it later.

Step 4 Go to the Type Tool box, Click on it. You are now ready to write something on your blank picture. Use whatever font you'd want I'm going with Arial. Make sure to make it a nice size. You can change the PT to get a nice clear font. Just don't make it too big that it takes the whole picture. Once you're done hit the move tool.

Step 5 Go to Edit then Free Transform, Now you will make it the size you want. After you got it just how you want it hit the Move tool. It will then ask, Apply the transformation you will then choose Apply.

Step 6 Click on the picture you want to put in the text so it moves to the front. Once you have that done. You will now Hold down the CTRL button and while it's down hit A & C then release the CTRL button.

Step 7 Click your text picture so it comes forward.
On your right you will see it appear in your layers as text. See illustration.

This is where everyone's tutorial makes no sense but this one will.

Hold down CTRL on your keyboard, At the time your cursor should be directly over the T in the white square you will then left click it one time.

CTRL down, Over T with cursor, Left click on mouse. Once the words light up let go of the CTRL button.

Step 8 Edit then Paste Into, Your picture should now appear within the text.

Step 9 Edit then Free Transform again. You will now stretch your picture to fit into the text. Once you have it how you want you will then press the Move tool once again and apply the transformation.

Step 10 Image then Trim, I had to trim mine to make it smaller and then that's it. SAVE !

Here's my finish project
