Alright, everyone. I'm going to start you off with a very simple tutorial. Color Manipulating is changing the way color looks. In any way possible. So to start you off, I'm going to use a picture of my face where you can see my eyes.

Now, in order to get the percision color. You must zoom into the object you wish on color, in this case, my eyes. You need to zoom in pretty close, like around 300% - 500%. Now take your polygonal lasso tool.User posted image

Now go to the picture and make a selection around the iris. But don't select the pupil.

Once you've figured out how to do that, do both eyes.

(HINT: In order so the selection doesn't go away every time you try to click new, hold SHIFT.)

Alright, once you've selected both eyes. Press CTRL + U, to bring up the Hue/Saturation Box.

Make sure the Colorize box is checked.
The Hue, chooses the color your want. The Saturation should always be low if you want a realistic effect. But since this is a tutorial..experiment. Lightness and Darkness, should never really be touched with..it ruins the quality. Most lightness you want is +10..no more than that. And here's the final result:
