very awesome ending icon, but what do you mean by chuck the paint on? do i make a new layer, cuz if i dont then it tries to make only her sleeves or face or background that color...

So I feel kinda dumb, but how do you turn the images into softlight? Many tutorials say to turn the image into softlight, but I don't know how. Any help?
