Tutorial
Click on thumbnailed images to enlarge
Start out with any image. I used this image.
First go to Images > Decrease Color Depth > 2 Color (1 Bit). Set your settings like this.
It will looked a bit messed up, but don't worry. Then, right click your image and press copy, then go to Edit > Undo
Make a new layer and set the opacity around 25, then right click your image and then go to Paste > Paste Into Layer
It should come out like this.
Okay..it's not the sexiest picture..but.. :biggrin:

im having the same problem! i put a new layer but it just doesnt turn out right.

everytime i do this the image is still black and white and it still looks all messed up i tried to put it in a vector layer too and its still messed up please help me
