Myspace change something and now it shows myspace.com is a place for friends and has a stupid line under it.

The stupid gradient/shadow thing is showing up now.
UGH. Myspace needs to stop updating.

I got a better code;

body{overflow-y:hidden}

Posted by Adiman on Jun 23, 08 2:43 am

alright, what part would you need only if you wanted to hide the navbar just by itselfand leave the blue area, isnt it just the div ul part and thats it?

Posted by AndresAngst on Jun 23, 08 1:19 am

It doesn't leave a shadow thing, and it doesn't hide the ads.... I don't know what is wrong with your computer. 0_o

Put the code into your myspace without any other code. It will only hide the navbar.

If you take out "tr td div, div td, div tr, div table {background-color:transparent !important;}" then it leaves this weird blue background around the ad.

omg awsome it works! urs is the first for div layouts! (not hiding the comment box)

Posted by chasingrainbowsx on Jun 22, 08 10:15 pm

I wish it didn't leave the shadow thing.
If you delete this part;;
tr td div, div td, div tr, div table {background-color:transparent !important;}
It will leave the ads.

thanks.

Posted by missxmarisxemily on Jun 22, 08 6:39 pm

does it hide that shadow? I already have a code, but the code I have leaves the shadow.

Posted by naythan82 on Jun 22, 08 6:26 pm

I doesn't hide the ads for me 0_o
Like I said, other codes may be interfering with it.

Posted by SharperMyspace on Jun 22, 08 5:50 pm

uqhhh. but it hides the ad =[
and myspace says DONT HIDE THE AD.
so . . its a no no.

Posted by MonetStarr on Jun 22, 08 5:33 pm

it works perfectly, and i did what Nizam did -- still works fine. it hides the ad banner though. how can i fix that?

Posted by xoxozzzoxox on Jun 22, 08 3:27 pm

i used it and enjoy the fact that ugly thing isnt there.
jenjen:
you have to put it at the bottom of your about me. after all the codes in the section, or else it will not work.

Posted by vampbabe155 on Jun 22, 08 2:42 pm

Jenjen: Other codes that you are using might be interfering with this code. It works for everyone else.

Posted by SharperMyspace on Jun 22, 08 12:25 pm

yup work fine.. thanks!!

but i just erase "tr td div, div td, div tr, div table {background-color:transparent !important;}"
