Look carefully for specific instructions

Replicating a Windows 7 desktop for Myspace, the wallpaper is from the new Windows 7 search online for it.

I think this is the first layout to implement new CSS3 codes? (box-shadow, border-radius, @font-face) So upgrade to the latest browser version or switch to another browser. I also used a CSS trick in there to make the blurs believable and realistic.

For full experience use Google Chrome or Safari and/or fullscreen with of course 1152x864 or higher resolution.

Works on all major browsers except IE.
Chrome & Safari - No issues.
Firefox 3.5+ - taskbar and browser icons rollovers not working. (if anyone can figure out why.)
Opera 9+ - CSS3 elements not working, unless it's Opera 10.
IE7+ - taskbar alignment.

Want to change your background?
It requires two images of the same background, one slightly blurred.

Upload your own wallpaper/background and replace it in body section. which is
body {
background-image:url(YOURIMAGEURL);}

Next make a copy of your background and use a image editor and Gaussian Blur it or Box Blur. (You can use online ones like spashup.) And upload it and replace it in the .windows7 and .taskbar section. Which will look with this.

Windows 7 (formerly codenamed Blackcomb and Vienna) is an upcoming version of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers, including home and business desktops, laptops, tablet PCs and media center PCs. Windows 7 was released to manufacturing on July 22, 2009, with general retail availability set for October 22, 2009, less than three years after the release of its predecessor, Windows Vista. Windows 7's server counterpart, Windows Server 2008 R2, is slated for release at the same time.

Unlike its predecessor, which introduced a large number of new features, Windows 7 is intended to be a more focused, incremental upgrade to the Windows line, with the goal of being fully compatible with applications and hardware with which Windows Vista is already compatible.
