*** I take NO CREDIT for the graphic header in this layout (although I did do some blending to make it look the way it did). It was taken from the CBC Olympics page and thus, you cannot remove that link on the nav directing you to their site. I just wanted to celebrate the Games by piecing together a usable layout with such a stunning image! Since it is Olympic themed, much is appreciated if you put your favourite Olympian's photo instead of say, your own. I mean, I only see this layout being used seasonal anyway - not even, like give it one month. ***

Okay, so after watching the 2 some odd hour marathon just a few hours ago, I was totally inspired to create a layout honouring this summer's Olympics (plus, today is the closing ceremony for the games so it only seems fitting).

So onto some Olympic hysteria HERE instead of the layout itself ...

My personal favs were (Canada): Karen Cockburn, Adam Van Koeverden, Alexandre Despatie, Priscilla Lopes-Schliep, Blythe Hartley, Emilie Heymans, Ryan Cochrane, Simon Whitfield Gary Reed, Tyler Christopher, Jessica Zelinka, Brent Hayden and Mike Brown.

As for the other nations:
I was rooting for Ryan Hall, Bernard Lagat, Nastia Liukin, Kosuke Kitajima, Haile Gebreselassie, Guo JinJing, Liu Xiang, Jeremy Wariner (noo, wikipedia is ruined!), Asafa Powell (lmfao), Allyson Felix, Chen Yibing and Usain Bolt

Hmm well I think the only reason this layout looks so good is because of the olympics graphic itself (I didn't make it). The swirly, blendiness is not really done by me.

just out of curiosity, do you think you would ever do something similar to this one, only not related to the olympics? Cause I really like this design
