i love the tapes on the left and where you put the comment box. it doesn't look out of place at all. i also like how you made "broken text" look all distorted somewhat. great job.

I love the tapes image and the 'broken record' text.
I think the navigation's too simple though, it doesn't fit in with the overall design.
And I think the comment box should be the same width as the content box above it.
