hey, love the layout! :]
but i was wondering if it were at all possible to add a scroll box in the text area?

the thing is, i had written this really awesome 'about-me' section, but most of it trails out of the black box and onto the actual layout, if that makes sense... =/

I like the layout. I have IE7 and the flash doesnt seem right. I have the for mentioned black box? Also why no blog or photo links?

I'm sorry but you're wrong. I can give you a direct link to MySpace staff "written / or typed" documentation proving that you cannot hide the MySpace bottom links, or the Block link/button anywhere on a layout.
