Sleek and Minimal (comments)

I know this is a long shot since nobody's commented on this for a while, but I need a little help.

I can't for the life of me remember how to put a header on this layout. I used to have one where the tiny white box is above the about me. Can anyone help?

take this bit of code out: it should work, if not let me know:

how CAN we get the search bar back up there? it's a pain without it, but i like the layout!!

They don't care about the search bar

i'm using this layout at the moment and think its neat...but i am concerned coz it covers the Google search bar...i know if you cover the ads then Myspace will delete your profile for violating Terms...so is the blue section and search bar included..hmmm..

the code is fine the way it is.
only bad thing about my help is that it puts the image behind the navigation, too.
something to do with how the layout was made.
idk how to fix it. sorry.

i just misunderstood you.

click and hold ctrl and f at the same time...you know how to do this now...put this in the form this time:

table table { background-color:ebebeb; border:solid; border-color:7F7F7F; border-width:1; background-image:url("")}


(make sure there are no space in the code---i'll comment again if there is a space)

same as last time....put your url in between the quotaions

aldb1054, thanks alot for offering your help. that ctrl f thing is really cool; i never knew that before. but the thing is, i know how to change my PAGE BACKGROUND, i'm looking to put a background in place of the grey background in that big grey square that contains all the other white squares...

ryanpetersmark , im here to help you put a background on it.
click ctrl and f at the same time on your keyboard.
a window labled Find should come up
In the entry bar, copy and paste this into it:
background-image: url("");
Click Next or Find
It should hilite the part in the code that says this...
in between the two quotation marks, put your background url
(i.e):

background-imag e: url("http://i296.photobucket. com/albums/mm184/simplephotoed it/checkkkerr.png");

and put the code into ur about me

i reccomend the background i used in the example

so i would like to change the light grey (the box of everything) from a light grey to a picture background. how could i go about doing this? please & thank you

Finally, a layout designer that isn't psycho. Not that I would copy, learn in the fisrt place, but a lot of the other designers are strict when it comes to their precious stylesheet.

I like this layout alot I just am going to use a different backgroud. But I will keep your credit link on cause you put the hard work into making it.
