Its right sided, and what everyone else said so far, I agree. Good job overall.

nicely done for your first layout. The coloring is great. For next time, try using two different fonts. The text under 'Michiyuki' would look better in Times new roman. Just a suggestion ;]

very nice considering this is your first layout. rollovers, if you can. the background is a bit too dark. i think it'd look better if the background was plain white. you should apply the yellowish overlay for the front image only. i think it'd look really nice. cant wait for your next one.
