Hmm... I'm not too sure how this problem can be resolved...

I use mozilla too, and it showed up brown.

oh idk why but it shows brown on internet explorer...i use mozilla...

In the live preview the background is brown and not purple. I like the quote, but I think this layout would've been better as a standard layout and not a DIV.
