Is there anyway to move the entire profile down so that the top isn't covered by the myspace ads?

From the community I dwell in, PNGs are usually the file type people save extracted (transparent) images in. Regardless of IE6's glitch, they still save it like that anyways.

And his advice was valid, but it's obvious their was a better option to choose from.

oh and i mean ie6 and lower.

that's um.. basically what i just said was not why its most frequently used. transparecy does not work in ie without a lot of tweaking. pngs are most commonly used to preserve quality, more than anything.

his "advice," while ill mannered, is pretty much valid.

but he seems to be the only one that cares, so i see no reason why you should have to change your ways.

actually pngs are more often used because theres no loss in quality, since transparency doesnt even work in ie without some extensive tweaking. just saying. i dont care either way.

@TheNickMan: PNGs are usually used for images that have a transparency property in them. My designs usually use solid colours .. so it would be pointless for me to save them as PNGs when GIFs could be a better substitute. And besides, I save my JPGs in the highest quality possible, CB just compresses them to save space D: (or so I've been told).
