why is the status so incredibly small?

that microscopic font above the big picture, it's sposed to be the user's status.

but how can we make it bigger for people to actually be able to read it???

question... everytimy i try to use one of yur layouts...it spreads everything on my page out...it looks real tacky too...and i really wanna use this layout, and its only the standard layouts
