NICE JOB, it looks kinda similar to my standard layout I made, but better, because its a div overlay. I haven't yet figured out how to make div overlays the way I want to. Once I do, I'll remake my standard layout "Everburn" into a Div Overlay. Though this is a great layout that you made, you should move everything to the center of the page, they are all to the left. Other than that, GREAT JOB!
