Yeah its better.

But, you should always make a bg repeat (unless is looks akward) becuase not everyone has a screen resultion of 1024 x768. I have a 1440x900 screen resoltuion. You can imagine that =)

Yeah, it doesnt fill up my screen too. I get a image bg, then a blank gray one. You should change it to repeat repeat. And, yeah, I agree with schizo, I think the cartoonish kind is much better than the realistic kind =)

The background doesn't fill up my whole screen. *is sad*
I like the fact that you used the cartoon instead of the new real-ish ones.
