jilikins, you need to replace all of the XXXXXXs with your friend ID *BEFORE* you hit Save All Changes on myspace, or none of your navigation links will work.
Your friend ID is a number, not your URL.

hello. ^_^ lemme say i love this layout alot. But i am haveing a few little problems. I wanted to check that if someone wanted to leave me a comment or a message or veiw my pics that they would be able too. so i went onto my dad's profile and tried to leave myself a comment, message and look at the rest of my pics. Sadly though it wouldn't work. i really have no clue what to do about this. this is my first DIV, but it was surprisingly easier than i thought it would be once i figured some codes out. but still as my first i dont get some things, so if you could please help me with this little problem i would REALLY appreciate it. THANX!

First, lemme' just say I love all of your layouts. They're very unique and easy-to-use.

But I am having a tad bit of trouble with this one. I replaced the Starfish photos with pictures of my friends, and they're all small enough.
But for some reason, it makes them go so far down in the box that you can only see the very top bit of the picture.

Is there any way to fix this?

Actually Shannon, it's not that simple. lol.
You have to add the links to each of your blogs by hand. There's no way to get the links to automatically appear.
To get the link to one of your blogs, go to your View All Blogs page (there's a link from your myspace home page) Look at the blog you want. At the bottom you'll see the time you posted it. Right click on the time, then select Properties. A little box will pop up. If you're using Internet Explorer, your blog URL will appear next to Address (URL), and if you're using Firefox, your blog URL will appear next to Address.
So you have to then set up the link as an actual link. It would look like this:
(a href="BLOG LINK HERE")title of your blog(/a)
But with carats (pointy symbols next to the letter M on your keyboard) instead of parentheses

I absoutly love all of you layouts! I have used more than a few of them, however I do have one question. Its prob. right under my nose and Im just not thinking of it but, how (or what link) do you use where it sais *BLOG LINK HERE* for some reason I couldnt figure that out. Im prob. just not thinking correctly lol! Thanks so much everything else looks GREAT!!!

it won't be because you're using a mac. The image even shows on my iPhone. Are you positive you're copying the entire code? Could you maybe send me a link to your myspace?

hmm... its still just white where the octupus nd everything is sopposted to be, maybe because i have a mac or something? haha i have no clue... isnt the only thing i need to do is change the x's to my id #...

the image is working for me right now. The site may have just been down. Try it again, and if it still doesn't show, clear your browser's cache

the octopus doesnt show up still, i even found the link to the background and it doesnt work alone... possibly link is corrupted or something?

Lill, was the octopus missing before you replaced your photo? Are you positive you replaced the right URL? Because you must have deleted the image URL somehow; there's no other reason why it wouldn't show up.
