LADIE, if you have to ask that, I'm not entirely sure you should attempt to use a DIV overlay. Friend IDs are basic myspace knowledge.
That said, google "myspace friend id" and you'll find tutorials that explain it. ;)
I cant seem to replace the kitten with my photo correctly...can you help me?
mFerraro, the problem with the icons not showing fully is unfortunately just a bug in Firefox. If you refresh once or twice they should return to normal.
As for your links, what problems are you having? Have you made sure that all of the XXXXXXs are replaced with your friend ID? Your friend ID is a number, remember.
PM me with your Who I'd Like to Meet codes if you cant get them working.
i agree w everyone that the layout is wonderful. i'm having problems w my links on the right. also i need assistance with the scroll box at the bottom, it only shows 1/3 of the pics. help :( pleeease
AritBarrow, do you mean that you don't know what your friend ID is, or that you don't know where to put it in the code?
..I Love This Layout! But i can't seem to find the friend id iish && it is really bothering me. Help!! :]
hello!
This is my favourite layout i have seen of yours and have never have had a problem with the HTML coding. Until now.
When it comes to the comment box all you can see is the button "View All".
Have i done something wrong??
plz type your comment here
XD - The navigation is really nice on this. I think you should've thought of a title for this one instead of having it where the user can edit their name out.
Dreamaaa, that's probably the words that createblog adds, because I use firefox as my main browser and I have the layout on my page, and nothing shows.
If the CB text at the top of the About Me is deleted, that shouldn't be visible..
Cute. If viewed in Firefox, there is a little bit of old profile wording you can still see. =)
To find your friend ID, go to your myspace.com home page (http://home.myspace.com/index .cfm?fuseaction=user)
Then click on the text link that says "Profile" underneath your default photo.
When your profile loads, look in your browser's address bar. The URL should look like this:
http://profile.myspace. com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user. viewprofile&friendid=XXXXXX
T he XXXXXX will be a long number, and that's your friend ID.
If you're linking to your friends' profiles, just go to their profiles individually, and look for the same number. It might be in the middle of the link for them, but it will still be directly after &friendid=
i cant find where my friend id is...please please help me... i love this layout but it is just really annoying me that i cant find my friends id
haha, thats really odd.(the code boxes)
anyway, I like the design of the layout, and how clean cut it is, but I dont really like the huge bulky name header, something more elegant and pleasing to the eyes. btw good job =)
Why are there slashes appearing in my code boxes????
O_O
