you need to remove the spaces that appear within those URLs. CB adds them.

yeah ojos, but i don't think the layout image is transparent. you'll have to replace this image URL:

with this one:

lady, if you replaced the image URL and all of the XXXXXXs correctly, your photo will link to your pics page

whoa, come to think of it...whenever I view any of my layout code pages on my iPhone, some of the code turns into viewable HTML. like if I have a marquee in the code, I can SEE the marquee.
So yeah, I guess it's a Safari issue

oh wow you know what it is? It's Safari. I just tried to look at this page in firefox, and I could see all of the code.

For some reason safari is cutting out some of the code in your text boxes!

The image code for the background is close to the bottom of I'd Like to Meet.
It's below the words:
div class="layout"
you should see an img src code, and the image URL.

have you used the myspace profile editor at some point? because that can interfere with DIV codes.

No it's before. But I've tried other layouts too (the GameBoy one) and the same thing happens. I've even searched the whole code for anything that might appear to be a background image, but I can't find it.

Do you think you can point it out for me? Like in what section of the code is the html for the background?

omgitsluisito, is the background gone when you first put the code into your profile, or only after you edit it?
if the background disappears when you try to add your photo in place of the cat, you're replacing the wrong image link.
otherwise, you might be missing part of the layout code.

Hmm I feel so stupid, because I bet the answer is easy, but for some reason, when I put in the code, the background picture won't show!

Any tips?
