Look carefully for specific instructions
Hi! This is my second layout for MySpace, so bear with me if I�m still a bit rusty on the odd controls, but you do need a basic understanding of html in order to work this layout. If you don�t have a clue how to work this, I might be able to help if you PM your problems, but it is a little difficult to figure out so that�s you warned! :]
Okay, because its one of my first layouts I�ve decided that its easier not to have a music box either, so preferably, it works better if you disable your music. You can always add a custom music box but at the moment I�m not sure about how one would go incorporating a music thingy into a div overlay. So that�s the second thing.
Third thing, you should only be editing stuff in �Who I�d Like To Meet� cause everything else is sorted for you.
Fourth, you need to look for
And you need to replace XXXXXXXXXXXX with your friend�s ID. You also need to replace the freewebs link, or your friends will simply be hearts. The best way to do this, is to make a micro photo of them, eg, just their face, but it can�t be any bigger than 50 X 50 pixels. Or it won�t work. Upload to your own hosty type thing and you're sorted.
(See, HTML experience does come in useful!!)
So just go to some image program and crop the face, doesn�t need to be perfect, but you do need to host it on your own server, and then link it into that image url so that it points to the picture of your friend.
Fifth thing, anywhere else that you see XXXXXX (Apart from when setting up your friends code) YOU NEED TO PUT IN YOUR OWN friendID that you find on myspace. This is especially important on the comment box or it won�t work at all, but don�t replace �friendID� you want to replace the XXXXXXXXX�s.
Sixth thing, please please please leave all the credit in the layout, it took me about 7 days to design and code this so don�t be an arse and delete the credit :]
Seventh, to edit the little box that says about me, you�re looking for something in the code that should be half way into the �about me� div, and should start �This is the equivalent of�

- This is a div overlay layout, html knowledge required!
- 1. Log into myspace.com
- 2. Click on Edit Profile (Profile 1.0)
- 3. Copy (ctrl c) and paste (ctrl v) code to the specified fields

What font was used for this layout? I always thought that was just Kurt Halsey's handwriting, haha. :)
