what if i want to put them in my masthead, like have my slices be rollovers?

How am I supposed to display it? If its only showing the CSS... what's the display code?

it only "lags" if you have a slow internet connection

this gives the rollover a "lag" the best way to do it is converting 2 images into one, and then make the css properties...

float left is so it can be horizontally aligned

Well I just tested it in firefox with out the float left's and it worked.

Just think why would it have to float left to work.

float left makes it work on firefox
without it it does nothing
