I see some guys complain. I wonder if the should go first to not-advanced tutorials. ie: simplyperfect probably needs to go learn img map to make parts of an image to link to different url. VIPStephan says this tutorial is not good because doesn't talk about semantics html, but then again: if you come to a tutorial for advanced users you got to "talk" html, isn't it?

okay so im making a div, and i have one picture
this picture has text that says like home, msg, cmt, block and so on..
however, i dont get how to make it so that where that certain part of the picture, i can make that a link, that goes to another page

alright, so I don't get everything about how to make the DIV layout.
Therefore, I was wondering if you could just send me something to tell me everything about them.
umm.. do you know how i can work the links on myspace? for example, i got a layout on this site and the codes for the the links doesn't work. for example, the link would say "message" and then people would click on it and it doesn't work. it says something like," this member has cancelled his/her account." do you know how to work it out? if so, thanks! This tutorial is a huge pile of crap! It starts off totally on the wrong foot, especially for those that are new to web design. You should start talking about semantic HTML first! Also absolute positioning isn’t the cure for everything. This can even make more problems if you don’t know what you do. And if you want to position an image, why put a useless div around it? Use the positioning directly at the image. Damn, I can’t believe people are publishing such a crap on the internet!
