Yay, my first EVER completed vector! In truth, I learned how to vector about two years ago, in my graphic art class, but I've always hated vectoring. Because I lack patience when it comes to designing, vectoring and I do not often mix very well. However, I can surely say that I love the feeling after completeing a vector. I mean, aside from the headache I got from spending hours in front of my computer.
In any case, I'm working on these vectors at the moment: Lacus (90% done), Shinn (15%), which are both for my wallpaper submission to the GSA's summer challenge, and a Coco (10%) vector for my wallpaper, which, hopefully will be done in time for Coco's birthday challenge. But, for practice, I decided to blow up a screenshot of veiled Sara and vector her. Sadly I chose it because it looked easy. And, also, because Sara is by a long shot my favorite MMPPP Mermaid.
I'm actually very happy with the outcome of this, even though my illustrator was being a jerk (kept aborting whenever I opened up Adobe Photoshop). So, overall, I do like it, and it's nice, clean, and simple. Hopefully there aren't too many mistakes.
Feel free to use it if you would like; just post here that you would like to and let me know what you're using it for. And cite me of course.
So, details!
TIME: Overall, 5.5 Hours
PROGRAMS USED: Adobe Illustrator 9.0,
Photoshop 7.0 (for background)
SOURCE: Random photobucket screencap
